1. Who we are

Maison de Build (“we”, “us”, “the Club”) operates a private, invite-only fitness club and this mobile application. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, who can see it, and your rights. Operator: Rushil Johnson Fitness. 2. Who can use the app

Membership is invite-only; only members registered by our administrators can log in. You must be at least 16 years old. If you are between 16 and 18, a parent or guardian must give verifiable consent before you use the app (see section 10).

3. What we collect

Identity & account: first and last name, mobile number (your login identity), gender, date of birth, email address (optional), profile photo, and a system-generated user ID.
Health & fitness (self-reported): fitness level, medical conditions, current medications, dietary preference, sleep pattern, injury history, doctor-clearance status, and fitness goals — provided by you during onboarding. Plus workout logs you record (sets, reps, minutes, personal records, muscle groups, history).
Emergency contact: the name, relationship, and phone number you provide for use only in a medical emergency at the Club.
Community & communications: content you post in the community, and messages you exchange with your assigned coach in the in-app chat.
Technical & diagnostic: app version, device model, operating system, and crash/performance/analytics data collected through Google Firebase, plus a push-notification token so we can send you service alerts.

This version of the app does not collect data from Apple Health, Whoop, or other wearables, and does not collect your device location.

4. Why we collect it

To operate your membership; to design and deliver training safely; to run streaks, rankings, and rewards; to enable community and coach-chat features you take part in; to respond to emergencies; to keep the app stable and secure; and — only if you opt in — to send you offers. We never use your health or fitness information for marketing or advertising.

5. Sensitive & health data

Medical conditions, medications, injury history, doctor-clearance status, and fitness details are sensitive. We use them only to keep you safe and design your program. Access is limited to you, your assigned trainer, and our administrators (see section 6). We do not share this data with advertisers and do not use it for targeting.

6. Who can see your data

Your assigned trainer — for their assigned members only: workout stats, streaks, completion, emergency contact, and full medical/injury detail, so they can design safe, suitable training.
Our Admins and Super Admins — onboarding data, chat logs, emergency contacts, community content, and account management.
Service providers who help us run the app: Supabase (secure database hosting), Google Firebase (push notifications, crash reporting, analytics), and — where you choose to make an in-app purchase — Razorpay (payment processing). We do not sell your data.

Build Cafe. Build Cafe is a separate, independently operated business. Where you place an in-app order from Build Cafe, we share the information needed to fulfil that order — such as your name, your order details, and any allergy or dietary information you choose to provide — with Build Cafe, which operates that service and is responsible for the food and for its own handling of that data. The Build Cafe ordering feature is not available in the current version of the app.

7. Emergency contact

By providing an emergency contact, you confirm you have that person’s permission to share their name and number with us for use only in a medical emergency.

8. Where your data is stored

Your data is hosted with Supabase in the Asia-Pacific (Singapore) region, and with Google Firebase. Some providers may process limited data in other regions under appropriate safeguards.

9. How long we keep it

We keep your data while your membership is active. When you request account deletion (available in the app under Profile → Delete My Account):

Your account is deactivated immediately.
We remove or anonymise your personal identifiers within 30 days.
Where we must keep identifiable data for a specific reason — restoring an account if you rejoin shortly after deletion, resolving disputes, fraud prevention, or a legal obligation — we retain it for no longer than 180 days, then delete or anonymise it.
Anonymised or aggregated data that can no longer identify you may be kept for reporting.

10. Members under 18

The minimum age to be a member is 16. If you are between 16 and 18, a parent or guardian must provide verifiable consent before we collect or process your data. We do not use behavioural tracking for targeted advertising, and we do not send marketing messages to members under 18. A parent or guardian may contact our Grievance Officer at any time to access, correct, or delete their child’s data.

11. Your rights

You may access, correct, or request deletion of your data, and withdraw consent. Because your mobile number is your membership identity, it can only be changed by request through an administrator. To exercise your rights, use in-app account deletion or contact the Grievance Officer above.

12. Changes

We will post updates here and change the “last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
